38 Year Long FOP Police Veteran Retires

Yesterday I had the honor of presenting Rockford “Rocky” Roblin with his retirement credentials after serving the citizens of Brevard County for over 38 years.

Rocky started with our agency in 1977 and has served in many different areas of our agency to include Patrol, K9, Investigations and the Civil Unit. Rocky is greatly respected by everyone he worked with and has been an amazing asset to our agency and community.

Please join me in congratulating Rocky on his retirement and in thanking him for his service to the citizens of Brevard County.

Brevard FOP again fulfills holiday wishes for local families battling cancer.

We had the pleasure of making our annual donation to Candlelighters of Brevard yesterday. Candlelighters is a non-profit that provides direct support to the families of children battling cancer. The FOP’s donation will pay for the Christmas dinners for seven (7) families who have children fighting some form of cancer. Thank you for supporting the Fraternal Order of Police….. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Brevard FOP fulfills holiday wishes for local families battling cancer.

Today, Brevard FOP President, Bert Gamin with the help of several Indian Harbour Beach and Satellite Beach Police Officers, delivered boxes of items completing the wish lists for families registered with Candlelighters of Brevard. The families got all the items on their wish lists alongside gas cards, meal cards and family gift cards for their favorite restaurants. Without the support of Biotest Pharmaceuticals and Walmart, it would not have been possible for us to get everything.
